Just turn up, pick up a brush and enjoy the process.
At Artidote, we create space to switch off from the everyday and try something new. You'll be guided step-by-step but there's no pressure to get it right. It's about having a go, having a laugh and leaving with something you made yourself.
Come with friends, plan a date night or come on your own and meet new people.
All materials are provided. Just bring yourself and a drink (BYOB) and nibbles if you like.

What to expect at an Artidote sip and paint workshop
A couple of hours to slow down and do something different.
You'll be guided step-by-step through some techniques, but there's no pressure to follow exactly. Some people like structure. Others go off on their own. Both are welcome.
We'll give you a starting point, then it's up to you where it goes. We are there to guide and support you all the way. Music on. Brushes out. Conversation flowing.
It's less about learning to paint, more about giving yourself permission to try.
Beginner-friendly painting classes
You don't need to be "good at art" to come to this painting class. Most people walk in saying they can't paint. By the end, they're asking when the next on is.
We keep things simple, supportive and open. No jargon. No judgement.

What's included in your workshop?
Everything is taken care of.
All materials are provided - paints, bushes, canvas, everything you need for a painting workshop.
We guide you through the session but you're free to take it in your own direction.
Tea and coffee are available and you're welcome to bring your own drinks and nibbles.
Just turn up and have fun.

We run regular workshops including sip and paint flowers and if modelling is your thing sip and sculpt clay sessions from our studio.
Each one has a slightly different feel, sometimes with a theme, sometimes more open.
Spaces are limited to keep things relaxed and personal.

Private bookings and events
If you're planning something for a group, we can host private sessions too.
