I just wanted to reach out and let you know how much we appreciated your time yesterday, everyone had such a good time, and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Even though I struggled to put passion to paper, I was absolutely at ease in the group and the atmosphere you created. It was a lovely evening, and I can’t wait to do it again.

This was such a brilliant experience, thank you - the group learning to let perfectionism go and just be in flow was amazing, great teaching and highly recommend

Overthinking & striving for perfection is part and parcel of most of our daily lives… but what happens when we just let it happen?
It’s not easy but Floyd encouraged us to play and enjoy art without expectation as we did as a child.
We stepped out of our comfort zone and painted spontaneously without rules, experiment, make mistakes and most importantly breathe(I will most definitely be repeating the breathing exercise).
Creative thinking is a beneficial skill to have when running a business and this session certainly opened our minds - I absolutely loved every minute of it.
Although my work is creative it involves research, planning and analysis before I think about putting a scheme together but today I just painted the self portrait without hesitation- it may not look like me but it doesn’t matter, it’s abstract and it represents my love of colour.
I allowed myself to be 5 years old again… that’s actually the last time I painted a self-portrait at school and I won a family photoshoot!
No photoshoot won today but I did go home inspired and got my paintbox out and did another freestyle piece this evening.
Thank you for the creative workshop and reminding us of the benefits of Art. I’m really looking forward to spending time at Artidote soon.

I had such a fun time last night, thank you so much for coming and showing us abstract painting! It was really nice to just chill out, paint and meet new people. We work in such a big building, some of us are like ships in the night, so it was lovely to meet new people with similar interests.

Thank you again for facilitating the art evening,I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and appreciated the paint and canvas and supplies all being provided; it was such a relaxing and encouraging environment to play and experiment with artistic expression and I will be trying painting and creating again very soon.

Twelve of us enjoyed a mindful, self-enlightening experience, learning simple techniques to transform a blank page into a dynamic abstract portrait painting. There was no “wrong” — just fun, freedom, and space to experiment.
With Artidote, Floyd offers something truly unique that helps both individuals and corporate teams grow professionally through creativity.
For me, the session was truly mindful and self-enlightening, and I’m still feeling the positive effects today. It was lovely to meet you and I caught you fully immersed and focused.

This is a workshop everyone should try. The design legend Malcolm Garrett once lamented about arts education that ‘at the age of five everyone paints - but later in life no one paints’. Artidote creative will help fix that - take part and surprise yourself.

I love this, keep doing what you're doing!
A lot of people give up drawing pictures at high school, when suddenly you start being taught the difference between "good art" and "bad art", and if you feel you don't fall into the former, you loose heart and stop making things.
Art has no other obligation than to exist; just like you, whatever form or shape it takes is enough. It is the act of making, not the outcome, that is important.

I went to an art class last night called Paint and Sip that was organised by my co-working space. I hadn’t really wanted to go — a colleague had to gently persuade me — as painting was the last thing I thought I’d enjoy. I hadn’t picked up a paintbrush since school in the late 1980s, when some overly critical teachers put me off for good (or so I thought!).
But Floyd completely changed my mind. His easy-going, encouraging approach and fun warm-up exercises made everyone feel at ease. Before I knew it, I was genuinely enjoying myself. Floyd has a wonderful way of reminding you that there are no rules — and if there are, they’re made to be broken.
By the end of the session, everyone was completely absorbed in their own creations and having a fantastic time. I would highly recommend Floyd (and his partner) to anyone — even, or especially, if you think painting isn’t for you!

These workshops aren’t just for artists or designers, they’re for anyone. You don’t need ‘talent,’ just an open mind and a willingness to explore. It’s a great way to break out of rigid thinking, tap into creativity and change your perspective.

When was the last time you felt in a true creative flow?
That feeling of being “in the zone” fully immersed, focused, and enjoying every moment is something we often hard to find - yesterday, I found it.
In the session there were no expectations to create something subjectively good. Just the freedom to have no expectations on yourself and to explore, play, and reconnect with creativity in a childlike way.
We used wax crayons, doodled without judgment, experimented with paint, and built up to paint the person opposite us.
I walked away feeling truly inspired and reminded of how important creative play is not just in art, but in my everyday life and in my freelance marketing work too.
If you get the chance, I highly recommend attending one of Floyd’s workshops.
Thanks for creating a space that encourages play, presence, and creative exploration.
I can honestly say this was one of the best and most memorable business events I've attended!
